ABERDEEN, Scotland. – EcoByte breaks new ground in the storage market with its enterprise class, network connected storage and server product family.  These simple, plug-and-go products are suitable for all businesses, from Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through departmental work groups, to large corporate IT departments.

Introducing the world's first high performance, high resilience network storage appliance which combines enterprise class performance and reliability with virtual server technology in a simple and easy to deploy Network Attached Storage (NAS) product.  The NAS-SXE offers high levels of physical and logical storage redundancy to ensure that valuable data is safe, protected against component failure and made available 24/7 to today's demanding applications. The controlled and protected environment made available through the EcoSERV Virtual server provides a home for storage focused applications such as web, email and ftp without the need for additional server hardware.

EcoByte NAS-SXE

The EcoByte NAS-SXE is a 16 or 24 drive network storage device with solid-state operating system and built-in redundancy for high availability and reliability. Configurable from 1TByte to 10TBytes of network presented storage per system with delivery to the user in excess of 1Gbit/s sustained across two copper gigabit Ethernet ports as standard - the NAS-SXE is a true workgroup-enterprise class storage solution.
